THE CHALLENGE

Every IEP has transition goals. Not every student gets the chance to work toward them.

For students with disabilities, the gap between what their IEP promises and what happens after graduation is often the most consequential moment of their education.

Pre-Employment Transition Services exist to close that gap, but they are hard to prioritize when your team is already managing everything else.

That's where Daivergent can help.

OUR SOLUTION

Our program is designed for your students' success.

Daivergent partners directly with schools to deliver Pre-ETS consistently, bringing credentialed coaches into your classrooms on a regular schedule from day one.

Unmet goals?

Daivergent provides structured Pre-ETS, so students are prepared by graduation for what comes next, whether that's employment, internships, or college.

Have a VR waitlist?

The Potentially Eligible pathway means students can access Pre-ETS support starting as early as age 14, even without an open VR case.

Staff capacity stretched?

Your transition coordinators and special education teachers are doing critical work. Daivergent extends your team with no added burden for school staff.

Limited access to funding?

Many schools don’t know the pathway to access state and federal funding. We do, and we’ll navigate the pathway for you.

"Daivergent Pre-ETS is a very valuable service given to our students because it hones in on developing the skills necessary to become contributing citizens of society. They are developing their interpersonal and workplace skills along with thinking about their future plans."

Who we help

We work with students who are:

  • 14 to 21 years old and enrolled in high school in New York State
  • 14 to 26 years old and enrolled in high school or post-secondary education in Michigan
  • Receiving services under an IEP or 504 plan

We work with students living with:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • I/DD
  • Dyslexia
  • Anxiety
  • Sensory differences
  • TBI
  • Other cognitive and mental health differences

Students can start as early as 9th grade, and many do.

HOW IT WORKS

Our model is built for the way schools operate.

We designed every part of our model to work within the rhythm of the school day, without adding to your team’s workload.

We remove the logistical hurdles to student support.

Coaches join classrooms virtually, 2-3 times per week. Students can participate from school or from home.

  We equip students with technology.

We provide laptops and headsets to every student at no cost to your school.

We provide small-group coaching and individualized attention.

Students work in small groups led by credentialed coaches at a 4:1 ratio. Every session blends peer practice and one-on-one feedback, so each student moves at their own pace.

Our research-backed curriculum holds up to scrutiny.

Our program covers the Pre-ETS pillars in a progressive path, and our VR curriculum has been academically validated in a study by the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council, Northern Arizona University, and Flagstaff Unified School District.

We’ll discuss your student population and needs, and identify which Pre-ETS tracks are the right fit for your classrooms.

STEP 2

We handle the funding and authorization.

Through the Potentially Eligible pathway, we work with your team to get authorizations submitted. Most classrooms are authorized within days.
